Board of Directors
President - James Keane
The President serves as the chief executive officer of the AELC and presides at all meetings of the Board of Directors and general membership.
The President is responsible for:
- Providing leadership and direction to the AELC
Representing the AELC in all official capacities - Appointing committee chairs and special committees as needed
- Overseeing the operations of the AELC
- Ensuring compliance with all AELC, THSLL, DFWL, and US
- Lacrosse policies and procedures
Vice-President - Anna Squire
The Vice-President assists the President in the performance of duties and assumes the responsibilities of the President in their absence.
The Vice-President is responsible for:
- Coordinating the activities of all committees
- Overseeing the implementation of the AELC's strategic plan
- Serving as the chair of the Arbitration Committee
- Assisting in the resolution of conflicts and concerns
Recording Secretary - Nathan Perry
The Recording Secretary is responsible for maintaining the official records of the AELC.
The Recording Secretary's duties include:
- Recording minutes of all Board and general membership meetings
- Maintaining the AELC's official documents and records
- Distributing meeting minutes and other information to Board members
- Maintaining the AELC's membership roster
- Coordinating with the Corresponding Secretary to ensure consistent communication
Treasurer - Christie Register
The Treasurer is responsible for the financial affairs of the AELC.
The Treasurer's duties include:
- Maintaining accurate financial records
- Preparing an annual budget
- Collecting registration fees and other payments
- Disbursing funds as authorized by the Board
- Providing regular financial reports to the Board
- Filing necessary tax returns and financial reports
- Coordinating with the Fundraising Committee
High School Program Director - Ryan Jones
The High School Program Director oversees all aspects of the high school lacrosse program.
The High School Program Director's duties include:
- Coordinating with the Head Varsity Coach
- Serving as a liaison between the high school teams and the Board of Directors
- Coordinating with the Allen High School administration on facility usage and scheduling
Youth Program Director - Aaron Daniel
The Youth Program Director oversees all aspects of the youth lacrosse program (K-8th grade).
The Youth Program Director's duties include:
- Coordinating with the youth team coaches
- Serving as a liaison between the youth teams and the Board of Directors
- Organizing youth team formations
- Coordinating with the DFWL regarding youth team registrations and schedules
- Organizing youth clinics and development programs
Ex-Officio - Tamara Sakuda
The Ex-Officio is the immediate past President of the AELC who serves in an advisory capacity.
The Ex-Officio's duties include:
- Providing historical perspective and continuity
- Advising the current President and Board on matters of policy and procedure
- Assisting with special projects as needed
- Serving as a resource for institutional knowledge
